Welcome to Southern Gospel World. My name is Sony Elise and I’ve been an avid southern gospel fan for over 20 years.
My introduction to southern gospel music came when I heard The Happy Goodman Family on an aerobics tape my mom bought when I was about 9 years old. It was love at first sound and started me on a journey to learn all I could about this music that had great harmony and left me feeling uplifted and encouraged.
The past couple years, I’ve had the blessing of writing a weekly devotion for SouthernGospelBlog.com and I plan to continue doing so. Recently, however, I’ve had a desire to do more writing, more reviews and commentary. I don’t know what God’s purpose for this blog is in full but I thank Him for this opportunity and pray He will use it for His glory.

Products submitted will not be returned and I do not guarantee a review of every project I receive but I will listen to it and prayerfully consider it. I am also open to receiving press releases of anything which may be of interest to the Southern Gospel community.
